Wir werden vor allem die Mitgliederversammlung und das Aktiventreffen auswerten,  Frühlingskampagene und neue Pläne für den Frühling schmieden.
Wie immer freuen wir uns über bekannte und auch neue Gesichter :)

WoWoCa - Workcampatmosphäre schnuppern

Wir laden SCI´ler, Interessierte, Neugierige sowie Kind und Kegel zum Wochenendworkcamp (WoWoCa) in einem Projekt in Brandenburg ein.
 
Wann:
Freitag nachmittag bis Sonntag später nachmittag das Wochenende Mitte Juni

Wo: Projekt in Brandenburg Schloss Tornow

Was:
Leben, arbeiten und voneinander Lernen zum Thema Ökologischer Landbau.

Wiehin: per Fahrrad und ÖFF 

Freuen uns auf den Besuch der Leipziger und weiterer :-)

Mitmachtag - Werde aktiv :-)

Wir sind dabei ....und packen an......

am 24.5. von 10- 14 Uhr findet im Martin-Niemoeller-Haus der "Mitmach-Tag" statt.

Mit gartenbereiter Kleidung helfen wir mit den anderen Gruppen des Hauses das Martin-Niemoeller-Haus auf Vordermann zu bringen, damit auch in diesem Jahr wieder die Gäste aus aller Welt sich wohlfühlen.

Es gibt ein gemeinsames Mittagessen im wunderschönen Garten. Bei großer Hitze locken Krumme Lanke oder Schlachtensee zur Abkühlung.

WO: Pacelliallee 61 - Martin-Niemoeller-Haus (direkt neben der Kirche)

Wiehin: U3 - Dahlem Dorf oder per Fahrrad.

Vielleicht habt ihr Lust aktiv zu werden, dann einfach melden....

Create a Climate for Peace - Call for the Week of Action

This Season… Take action!

Create a Climate for Peace Week of Action, worldwide, 7th-13th April 2014

The idea of the Create a Climate for Peace Campaign unifies the ongoing efforts and provide guidance for those, who want to join the activities, so that together we can work for SCI's vision of the world. Many efforts in this direction has already been made independently from any campaigns. Now we want to recognize them and multiply them!
The ultimate goal of the CCPC is to work towards the SCI vision of the world through climate justice related action. It will be a long way, but already you can play a role and make your valuable contribution.
The CCPC is still in the dynamic process of creation (and each one of you influences what it will be), but with the CCP Week of Action we want to announce the official start of it!

Join the campaign! Let the world know you’re part of it! Leave your handprint!

As SCI we can act not only to minimize our negative environmental impact (commonly referred to as footprint), but most importantly we can make a positive handprint (bringing necessary social change by volunteering)! If you are already asking yourself “But how do I do it?”, bad news is: there is no one answer. But there is also the good news: there are thousands of ways it can be done. Most important is: start doing them!

In this call for action we’re suggesting both simple and more challenging things that can be done, but feel free to unleash your imagination and add to it! Below you will also find examples of things happening around the world for your inspiration. Make it matter to you!
Some of the suggested activities:

Be the movement: Take a photo with Create a Climate for Peace logo and send it to us

Educate yourself and others: Organize a movie screening / Invite people to a workshop

Organize in your community: Organize a sustainable urban game / Plant a tree, or a garden

Think about the workcamps: Promote the Create a Climate for Peace workcamps / Organize your branch meeting around the sustainability of your workcamps

Be online: Change the profile picture / Change status update / Tweet the campaign message with the #climate4peace hashtag / watch - participate in our Talkshows / ...

Interested? Many more details and suggestions are available here Sounds hard and you have many “but’s” in your head? Well, we all do and this is why it’s so important to try!
